Living-donor liver transplantation provides consistent benefits to patients on the liver transplant waiting list, including reduced time on the waiting list, improved graft survival and patient survival, a lower incidence of complication, and expansion of the donor pool. The presentation will provide an overview of the living-donor liver transplant procedure, the advantages that living donation provides for patients, and the ways UPMC is working to increase access to liver transplant for patients with liver disease
1 Certificate of Completion For attendees that are not included in the nursing, social worker or professional counselor categories, The Living Bank issues a Certificate of Successful Completion to those who complete the Live or OnDemand webinar.
A certificate of completion is awared when the participant views the webinar presentation, completes an online evaluation and achieves a minimun passing score of 80% on the post-test.
