This presentation focuses on the use of social media in the realm of organ transplantation. Specifically, it will highlight the social media options available for transplant candidates to find potential living donors and how to help transplant candidates utilize these choices most effectively. The presentation will also summarize the ethical challenges that arise when using social media to discuss living donation. Additionally, I will briefly describe the SRTR Living Donor Collective and its purpose of studying long-term health outcomes in living donors.
1 Certificate of Completion For attendees that are not included in the nursing, social worker or professional counselor categories, The Living Bank issues a Certificate of Successful Completion to those who complete the Live or OnDemand webinar.
A certificate of completion is awared when the participant views the webinar presentation, completes an online evaluation and achieves a minimun passing score of 80% on the post-test.

1 Professional Counselor CE Credit The ILDAN™ program is approved by Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. Professional counselors may earn one contact hour of continuing eduction by completing either the Live or OnDemand webinar.
